House rules
Code of Conduct and House Basics
Code of conduct
Be respectful. No harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or threats.
- Respect boundaries and consent. If asked to stop, stop. Failure to respect boundaries or seek consent may result in being asked to leave or termination of membership.
- No retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.
- If you feel unsafe, prioritize safety (call emergency services if needed), then tell a coordinator.
Guests
Guests are welcome if they're respectful and don't disrupt work. Hosts are responsible for their guests. Frequent guests are asked to become renters; renters may become members. If a guest is occupying a shared space that is then needed by a member, they may be asked to relocate. Please do not use other people's desks without permission of the member.
Security cameras
Common areas are recorded by security cameras. Video only — no audio. Footage is stored on-premises, kept 30 days, and reviewed only to investigate security-related events. No cloud storage and no third-party access.
How to raise a concern
Tell a coordinator. Members may also use the dispute process in the bylaws.
